Kelly Feliz

Born and raised in the heart of Colorado, Kelly spent much of her life surrounded by horses, learning to ride and train them from a young age. Growing up with a deep connection to the outdoors, she cultivated a strong work ethic and a passion for animals, which would remain a part of her life for years to come.

In high school, Kelly met her future husband, and their relationship blossomed into a lasting partnership. Together for 23 years and married for 13, they have built a life full of love, adventure, and the joy of raising two children—a son and a daughter.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, Kelly and her family moved across the country due to her husband’s military career, living in Florida, New Mexico, and eventually returning to Florida. Through these moves, she learned to adapt and navigate change, all while maintaining her strong connection to her roots.

The biggest challenge and reward of her life came when her son was diagnosed with autism. Navigating the complexities of his condition was a daunting journey, but it sparked a passion in Kelly to support other parents facing similar struggles. She became a passionate advocate for children with autism and their families, determined to make the path a little easier for others. This mission led her to volunteer at Advanced Sacred Hope Academy (ASHA), where she had the opportunity to bring her big ideas and heart for service into play.

In 2024, Kelly was invited to join the ASHA team, a move that allowed her to channel her energy and creativity into directly helping children and families at the academy. She has embraced the role wholeheartedly, loving every minute of working with the children and contributing to the growth and success of ASHA. As a mother, volunteer, and advocate, she is committed to making a difference in the lives of others—especially parents who, like her, once felt lost but now find strength and community in the shared journey.

Outside of her work, Kelly enjoys life with her family, including their three large dogs. Her love for animals and the joy of spending time with her children keeps her grounded. In her downtime, Kelly has a passion for crafting, a hobby that allows her to express her creativity and unwind. Whether it’s creating unique home décor or personalized gifts, crafting has become a cherished way for her to relax and share her creations with others.
