Eliza Johnson

Eliza Johnson is the Pre-K (Hangar 1) teacher here at ASHA. Eliza has been working in the ABA field since 2024. She is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in Psychology and plans to continue expanding her knowledge in Special Education.

In Hangar 1,  Ms.  Eliza focuses on building essential life skills that support success in elementary education. These skills include sharing, making friends, following schedules, and --most importantly-- having fun in a safe and supportive environment. Much of the school day is play-based, allowing Ms. Eliza and the Hangar 1 team to emphasize naturalistic teaching strategies. Throughout the day, you will find Ms. Eliza supporting students as they practice waiting their turn, transitioning between activities, and asking for help. 

Her training as a Registered Behavior Technician has helped her grow confident in her ability to support young learners as they develop effective communication skills to express their wants and needs.

In her free time, Eliza enjoys karaoke nights with friends, playing with her dog, and spending time with family.
